Vegetable Recipes

Principles for Cooking Vegetables

  • Thoroughly wash vegetables, but avoid
  • soaking them
  • Steam or cook in as little water as possible
  • Avoid overcooking.
  • Save any Liquid for soups or gravies

Vegetables should be eaten as oil-free and
natural as possible.

Season and enjoy!

Herbed Green Beans

Steam until tender

  • 1 pound green beans

Drain and season with

  • 1/4 teaspoon basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt

Serve hot.
