Gravies and Sauces

 

Peanut Butter Gravy

Serve on baked or mashed potatoes.

Blend in a blender till creamy

  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon celery salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic salt

Pour into saucepan and bring to boil, stirring constantly till thick. Lower heat and simmer a few minutes.

Barbecue Sauce

Combine in a saucepan

  • 3 cups tomato puree or sauce
  • 5 tablespoons molasses
  • 3/4 cup honey
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 3 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons parsley flakes
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons Bragg Liquid Aminos
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Bring to boil, reduce heat, and simmer for 10 minutes.
